Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between ANR and a passive headset?
A passive headset blocks noise with its ear seals. An ANR headset also 'listens' to the engine noise and cancels it electronically, mainly at low frequencies. The result: less fatigue on long flights.
Which plug do I need?
Most light aircraft have two GA jacks. Helicopters usually use U-174, Airbus aircraft 5-pin and many newer aircraft 6-pin LEMO. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the jack.
Can I use my headset in another aircraft?
Yes, with the right adapter. We have adapters for every combination of GA, U-174, Airbus and LEMO.
Can I listen to music or take phone calls?
Yes, the b.com ANR and ANR Version 2.0 have Bluetooth. The priority switch makes sure you always hear the tower and the intercom first.
What batteries do the ANR models need?
Two AA batteries. The passive b.com One and the b.com Ground need no batteries.
Is the b.com Ground suitable for pilots?
No, it is designed for ground crews: talking to the cockpit during pushback and maintenance, with a long cord and a PTT button.

Yes. Microphones, microphone covers, ear seals, head pads and cables are in stock.
